A heartfelt plea...

to all wonderful pushers of wheelchairs in airports. Although I am so grateful and can't thank you enough as I would never have made it without you....if you don't look and continue to repeatedly push my bad foot into doors, people, lifts and other peoples luggage, please don't look offended when I scream.!!
Just saying!!!

Enjoy xx

Maybe you should have Wesley Pegden make a bumper for your next wheel chair ride? Remember the one he made Smiler when he dropped something on his foot? Love 'Last of the Summer Wine' and watch it 6 nights a week. Hope the rest of your journey goes off without a hitch!

Dyan, Looks like you're going to have to start requiring wheelchair-pushing licenses before letting anyone touch the chair. Or maybe just some commonsense.OUCH!
A hug to make it better.

Hi ! I am one of those pushers ! My DH is in a chair & I DO admit a problem - I'm 5ft 1" tall - and when I push I can't see over him to gauge when his feet are looming up on all the obstacles that you listed !!! So if your pushers were vertically challenged like me - maybe you could forgive them !!! Hope the rest of your trip is less painful ! Looking forward to following your adventures & sneaky peaks at the coming trends on your blog ! Keep us posted !! Short-arsed Ali !!!!! x

my sorry to read that you broke your toe Dyan and that people keep banging it into doors or walls, don't they sell uggs with a alarmbel that start making noise as soon as you come within 15 cm of a door, that would be cool
hope it heals soon
hugs

Ouch! Hope it's feeling better today. I just have to tell you that you rock! I read a comment you recently left on a blog....you blasted her. You! Are! Awesome! Thank you for pointing out the nerve of her bitching about something she herself did! *shakes head* Anyway...thanks pointing it out to her.

so sorry about all the nasty ouchies!!how did you manage to hurt your foot?? hope it is healing quickly! I broke my leg a few years back(plate and 6 screws later (no not in my head either as hubby had hoped!) it was a VERY long 6 months of wheelchair rides and a walker.. cuz nearly killed myself on crutches!! (hubby referred to them as the sticks of death!) so hang in there! I so LOVE your blog and all your work and your fab sense of humor brightens my day!!! can't wait for all the new goodies to come out here so I can buy them!!
sending you hugs and healing thoughts!!

Oh no and now I feel bad for saying you should request wheelchair service to help with your foot. Hope that the pain is less now and recovery well on the way!
