Chilling with the Canadians

Its been a long time coming but I have finally touched Canadian soil!!!

My first stop was at the lovely Natalies of Scrapbook Centrale in Montreal

Fabulous displays in the store

Vegan burgers at Copper Branch. Fabulous, I think I ate there 5 times lol. And managed to get my beloved fresh juices.

The first day of teaching I wore purple in honour of Prince who sadly lost his life.

And even the classroom was holding tribute to him, lol.

Day two and  the lovely Constance came to pay a visit and show me her journal, yay to her Mum for encouraging her. She spoke fabulous English, as did everyone I met. Thank you as I speak terrible French lol.

Day three was just as fabulous as the others

And before we could blink it was over!!!

Here is the lovely Josee who's husband Marc had bought her all of the classes for her 50th birthday.

Lots of people had driven for hours to get here, but Alison drove the furthest. 11 hours...yes you heard me correctly 11hrs!!!!. I salute you

I had a fabulous time and Natalie was a wonderful host, providing me with hot tea and vegan food.

Teaching her the normal Dyan photo face, lol

A big thank you to all of her staff as well, they are a wonderful bunch. If you have never been to the store, its well worth a visit.
Packed with stock and they do some fabulous workshops. Definitely check out the ones by the extremely talented Giselle below.

All in all, I had a blast and as Arnie says "I'll be back" and I promise it won't take me 4 yrs this time lol.

Go HERE for their write up of my visit.

So it was Aurevoir  to Montreal and on to the next stop.

Enjoy xx

Back to Back and Upside Down.

The last two years of the Back to Back Retreat has been so much fun that we have decided to do it all again.....but with a slight difference.

The ever so fabulous Dina Wakley is snowed under with teaching and is unable to join us. Big boos and hissing.

So what do we do...??

We get another ever so fabulous teacher to join us.

Tell me, tell me, tell meeeeeeeeeeeee......

Oh go on  then...

It is no other than the wonderfully talented and personal art crush...

Teesha Moore...

Oh yes indeed...

can you frikkin believe it..????

But its true, although Teesha has cut down on her teaching immensely, she has agreed to join all you fabulous ladies at our retreat...

Get in there...

Now remember last years retreat sold out in 9 days, yes 9 days...!!!
So don't leave it too long.
